Change of address – Capago Visa Application Centre in Sierra Leone
We are pleased to inform you that the Capago visa application centre in Sierra Leone is moving to new premises.

From Tuesday 1 September 2026, all our services will be provided exclusively from our new address:

All appointments confirmed from 1 September 2026 will take place at the new premises. Our telephone services, our online appointment booking portal and visa processing times are not affected by this move.

Filing of Applications
Filing of visa applications The applicant's physical presence is mandatory when filing the application.

Please note the following specific cases:
  • Children under 12: Their presence is mandatory, although they are exempt from biometric data collection.
  • Government members and holders of diplomatic passports with a previous visa issued less than 59 months ago: Their presence is not required and they are exempt from biometric data collection.

Hours
Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Applicants are invited to book a slot online before coming to file their application. Slots are reserved exclusively for them.

Reception days and hours
Our center is open twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each month:
  • With an appointment: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Without an appointment: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Visa applications for newborns or children under 6, whose parents hold a valid circulation visa, may be filed without a prior appointment.

Copies of both parents' circulation visas must be presented when filing.

The child must be physically present when the application is filed.
Passport Collection
Hours The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each month, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Please do not come to the center until you have been contacted.
In-person collection Only a valid ID and the collection ticket issued at the center during the biometric appointment are required.
Collection by a third party The power of attorney submitted on the day of filing must be presented in two copies.

  • National long-stay visas are valid for France only.
